The more than 94,700 capacity of Soccer City stadium between Johannesburg and Soweto helps give South Africa's 10 World Cup venues an average of almost 57,500; larger than recent FIFA championships in Germany 2006, Japan-South Korea 2002 and France 1998. Soccer City stadium will host the World Cup final July 11th.
